This year, BENU pharmacies once again participated in the Conference for Blind and Visually Impaired Women, held with the support of the Ministry of Labour of the Republic of Serbia and socially responsible companies. The conference provided an important platform for women from across Serbia to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and empower one another.
The educational program was organized in partnership with BENU pharmacies, which provided expert speakers and thoughtful gifts for all participants, reaffirming our commitment to promoting health, inclusion, and corporate social responsibility.
Our colleagues made a particularly valuable contribution to the event. Senior Nutritionist Dragana Đalić delivered a presentation on maintaining a balanced and healthy diet during the summer months. Through a practical and engaging approach, she highlighted the importance of seasonal foods, adequate vitamin and mineral intake, safe food storage and preparation, and proper hydration during warm weather. Her presentation generated significant interest, with participants receiving practical, expert answers to their many questions.
Martina Jakovljević, Master of Pharmacy, spoke about skin health and skincare, emphasizing the importance of a consistent daily skincare routine, effective sun protection, and regular mole examinations for the early detection and prevention of melanoma. Through practical advice and open discussion, she also highlighted the vital role pharmacists play in providing accessible professional guidance and support to patients.
The conference also opened an important discussion on improving the accessibility of pharmaceutical services for blind and visually impaired people. Participants shared their experiences and valuable suggestions on how BENU pharmacies can further enhance accessibility and improve the customer experience for this community.
